Our air conditioner in the sun room quit working for a while yesterday afternoon. It was 99°F when I went back there. I fiddled with the switch a bit and was on the Internets looking for a new one when I heard it kick back on. It seems to be working OK again, but I have this feeling ——

I checked on the rebates for our new phones from #USCellular. Evidently they got my submission but not Tracey’s.

I get thoroughly disgusted with all of this rebate nonsense. I called and was told to re-submit because they know we bought two phones but don’t understand why they “didn’t get” the one. They got it all right I am sure but the minimum wage person who received it probably could care less if we get “registered”.

I am thinking there is not a high level of job satisfaction in opening rebate letters. I suspect we will eventually get the rebate but they are going to make us jump through all the hoops.
