Our Internet speeds have been great for the past couple weeks and it has spoiled me. It is slow this morning and I fear a return to the dark ages of last month. Hope I haven’t just jinxed myself!


Tracey got off a few hours earlier than she expected yesterday so it was only a twelve-hour day instead of sixteen. Sadly only working twelve hours without overtime pay is becoming cause for celebration.

I just returned home from dropping Tracey off at work. I also stopped at the UPS drop-off location in Pekin to return a space heater I had ordered last week from #Amazon.com for the sun room. It was advertised as a 220v 20 amp unit but I got one that was wired for 30 amps. Different plug than the outlet we planned to use (the one for the wall a/c unit we just installed). I decided rather than rewire the plug and change the fuse, etc. I would simply return it and get another brand. I think this time I will go to the local stores so I can see what I am getting.
