Since we worked so hard Saturday we took yesterday off. There are still things to get done before the snow flies but it was too nasty outside to even think about doing them.

High on the list is making sure the snow blower will start. I don’t want to be out there in a blizzard yanking on that rope and cursing —— again.

I also want to get battery chargers on the two motorcycle batteries and the mower battery. I found these cheap little trickle chargers at Amazon.com a couple years ago and they do a great job of keeping the battery charged enough so they don’t freeze over the winter.

In celebration of the 125th Birthday of the Statue of Liberty, EarthCam has donated its webcam technology to allow people all over the world to enjoy one-of-a-kind views from the torch. They recently installed five cameras that produce live HD streaming video.

Good morning.
Dave and I drove to WIU yesterday and brought our kids home. They took a Peoria Charter bus there on Friday afternoon to visit a friend. Kind of weird seeing the town after all these years! I graduated in 1982 from there.

That webcam was so cool! While checking out the coastlines, it looked like there were two shark fins swimming in the water. There was also a spot that looked like a jet’s reflection in the water too.

Tom told us about the WIU visit at supper Saturday. I used to visit one of the guys from high school there from 73 thru 75 or so. It has changed some! Happy Halloween to you all too!
