Well I managed to lazy my way through an entire weekend and didn’t get much accomplished besides turning back the clocks. All those “get ready for winter” things I should be doing are still waiting to be done.

The plan for today is to get a copy of my sleep study. I hope I can get it from Pekin Hospital without jumping through too many hoops but I think I better have a copy of it if the current fiasco of trying to get insurance to pay for my new mask is any indication. It really sucks when a doctor’s prescription isn’t adequate to get something paid for —— now the insurance company decides if you need medical care. Got to love America.

I had set two tasks to work on this morning —— get a copy of the sleep study and find some place to get our generator working again.

I have made a good start on both.

The person in Medical Records at Pekin Hospital says I can pick up my copies tomorrow morning.

I called Fliginger’s in Morton and they say they can fix the generator engine.

So now I will have to enlist a couple strong backs to heft it into the back of our Blazer and haul it to Morton.
