I spent some time out in the garage yesterday working on the blow snower —— it will start and run smooth now. It was easier than I had feared it would be.

I didn’t have to take anything apart. I just drained the float bowl of old gas and poured some new gas in the tank. It started and ran rough for a bit but finally smoothed out. Now I hope I don’t need it after all.

I have been pondering the #Occupy Wall Street activities and conclude that I agree with them for the most part but have serious doubts they will bring about meaningful change.

The one thing they have brought to our attention is how much our society has embraced the #PoliceState. Around 5,000 people have been arrested to date. Most of those arrests were NOT for civil disobedience but for freedom of assembly.

I am even further surprised at how all the Teabaggers who were carrying signs about the Constitution seem to have evaporated. One would think they would join a protest about the loss of our fundamental right to assembly and free speech. Guess not.

I applied for a job at the #Avanti Dome yesterday. I stumbled upon an Internet ad for “Administrative Assistant”.

After ranting a good while about the nonsense of submitting a “Resume” for a nearly minimum wage job —— I did it anyway.

Tracey says she won’t even consider an applicant for a job that doesn’t have a resume. So I guess the insanity is full circle. You have to play the game to get anywhere. I tried not to embellish or lie too much. I didn’t even mention that time I was “Ruler of the World” or anything.

I think resumes boil down to who can tell the most convincing lies without misspelling anything or using bad grammar.

The first of the month is here and I have changed my passwords again. What a pain in the —— never mind. I’ve said it all before.

Update: 05/01/19
I have recently started using a password manager that encrypts passwords so I don’t have to change them so regularly anymore.
