That’s one of the things that I like about him -- because
he’s been consistent since he changed his mind.

Tracey and Aaron went off to work yesterday morning and Ben went last evening. Things were a bit lonely after having everyone here for a few days.

I got to try out one of my new Christmas presents. They are called Eggies and I got six of them to boil eggs in. They are plastic and each one comes apart in three pieces. There is a top half, bottom half, cap on the top and a ring to hold top and bottom together. You oil the top and bottom halves, assemble them with the ring in the middle and leave the top cap off until you break an egg into it. Then you screw on the top and put them all in boiling water to make soft or hard boiled eggs. Worked pretty slick! I love hard boiled eggs on my salad but can never seem to get the shell off without making a mess. These things work great but do take more time to clean afterwards.

I’ve never seen such a gadget! I hate to make hard boiled eggs because I can never get them peeled without the mess either.

Sad news...my mom lost her 2 year battle with lung cancer last night. At least there’s no more chemo and no more pain for her!

You have our condolences Tammy —— it is always hard to lose a loved one.

Thank you Michael and Jean! It’s been a rough month and I know there will be some more rough times, but my mom is pain free! I have to keep telling myself that...it’s so hard to not be selfish.

I have always been the one to look at the glass half full and not half empty. It seems to help to look at the glass half full right now.

Update:
The eggies didn’t last long. They were more trouble to clean than they were worth. It turns out it was easier to just peel the eggs.
