Tracey returned yesterday from the time wasting meetings. Once again she had to pay for her own room and now we wait a couple weeks at least to get reimbursed by the cheapskate company. Usually she gets to eat at the hotel’s breakfast buffet but Fresenius is now too cheap to even pay for that. Tracey was really glad to get home and Louie was glad to see her too. He really missed her!

There is web page I go to frequently that features open submissions of political cartoons, videos, humor, etc. It just happened that there was a page this morning from another person who evidently saw the same planting maps as DD did. I thought this to be an amazing coincidence!
And then I clicked on the “Source” link for the page above and it took me to NPR which had an explanation which parallels what DD said. You are pretty preceptive dear sister!
Thanks Micheal! I can’t really take much credit...The garden sites I visit where talking about this. We use these zone guides when trading plants and seeds. Active gardeners have been aware for a long time that they can “push the zone” and plant things that formerly wouldn’t survive the cold.
When I posted I was thinking about our boys going into agriculture/ bio-science. We’re already seeing changes in biodiversity caused by this. Plants, insects, birds...native species are ranging further north. Introduced species may be more able to survive.
As I write this I wonder how other human industry has or will be effected?

Hi DD! I think we shall see more gradual changes in our climate, at least I hope they are gradual. I keep joking with Tracey that one day we will have the air conditioner running at Christmas but I hope I am wrong! I am sure our kids and grandkids are going to see much climate change after we are gone ... I just hope an Ice Age isn’t the result.
