I’ve told myself before. Don’t go shopping on a #Monday because it is more crowded. But I did it anyway. And I have told myself - don’t go shopping when you are hungry because you will buy junk you don’t need. But I did it anyway. I had to wait in line, but the cashews were good!

Aaron got his Federal #IRS Income Tax refund yesterday so now we all have our money back (a little of it anyway). I think Aaron was a little worried when Ben’s check arrived last week and his didn’t.

Well, most of our money has been “returned”..... I use Taxact.com to do our taxes. I file electronically with direct deposit. This year was the first time Ashley had to file. For some reason, the state didn’t like her drivers license info. Yep, the state that gave it to her didn’t like it! So, I had to mail her state one in.

And, once again, the feds. didn’t like Andy’s birthdate! I had to mail his federal return last year. Then he was turned down for a FOID card because of his birthdate. He had to mail them a copy of his birth certificate to get a FOID card.

This year, the feds. don’t like his birthdate again. He’s supposed to be calling Social Security to try and clear it up for good...I hope! How ridiculous! All I can say is he was born on the day he was born!

Hi Tammy,
It would seem that as the rest of the modern world moves forward with the Information Age our government is going backwards. We had to mail stuff to the state last year for Aaron because they didn’t like his driver license number either. This year everything went off without a hitch with the state for A&B but probably because we owed THEM money and they don’t argue about that.
