Yesterday was a Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day. My stomach trouble (#GallBladder) attacked me again and I wasn’t back to normal until after 1 p.m. I didn’t even get the blog finished until late afternoon so I am sorry for you folks who look forward to your morning cartoons!

I had plans for yesterday too! I went to Cupi’s in N. Pekin and bought a new motorcycle battery Wednesday evening and was going to install it and I was going to mow some grass. Didn’t happen.

You may recall our #Coffee maker died a few days ago? Well I went out and got a new Mr. Coffee for $20 at K-mart. The last two times I’ve bought very much more expensive Bunn machines and they didn’t last more than a couple years. So I will wait a little longer for the Mr. Coffee to sputter some coffee out. Name brands don’t seem to mean much anymore. Anyway, I didn’t feel like coffee yesterday and today is the first day to try the new machine. The coffee tastes the same even though it was brewed in a cheap brewer. Imagine that.

I made a trip to our bank in Tremont where I always get my Presidential dollars and they didn’t have the latest president?! The teller lady said the government had discontinued them so they didn’t order any. The website for the U.S. mint says they are still making them so I told her to please order some if they would. I have saved one roll of each president as they have been released and I hope to get all of them. I’m not sure why? Something to leave to the boys I guess. I suppose if they stop minting them they will be worth more? Probably not.

Ahhhhhh.....spring break......FINALLY! To do list: sort through basement - stuff for Ashley’s apt. OR Goodwill OR should I have a garage sale stuff OR garbage? Of course, I have to clean up and re-arrange a little first so that I can have a place to put the piles! Then I have to read up and learn how to hatch chicks.
Yep, I’m going to try to hatch some chicks at school! I’m not sure why I have a need and/or fascination with hatching chicks, but....gotta try it at least once! I have to set up the incubator and get it going next weekend. The eggs are coming the Monday we head back to school.
There is a farmer in Tremont that supplies the eggs and then he takes the chicks back. I don’t want to know what will happen to my “babies” after they return to the farm!

I am feeling MUCH better today! I just wish I knew for sure what causes it and if I could do something to prevent it. I’m afraid it is a hiatal hernia and I would need surgery for that. I don’t think I want that.

Well, my dear, better make a food diary that includes not only what you eat, but when you ate it. It could be a build up of the same type of food over time.
Is there something you eat and/or drink lots of each and every day? I’m thinking you drink coffee. Experiment with the number of cups you drink. Dave can only really have 2 or 3 at the most in a days time or he pays down the road. He was back to drinking milk again for a couple of weeks lately.
I noticed that this week the milk glass hasn’t been on the counter so I’m guessing he “fixed” himself again. He cuts out the cup of coffee he would have after work and that seems to help.

I don’t drink coffee past noon much anymore. The only pattern I can find is if I eat onions, etc. too late in the day. I’m just going to have to watch it closer. The problem is I will go weeks and months with no problem and I drop my guard!

That’s how Dave is too. He will drink too much coffee for months and then all of a sudden....BLAMO!

I NEVER, EVER use a credit card to pay drs. bills!
Geez! I just know this will be awhile before I figure this out and fix it! At least I know it was for Ashley at Prompt Care on Dec. 10, 2011!
I was told by their business office that the credit card number was written in on a statment stub and mailed in. Even weirder...it’s a credit card that ONLY Dave has - not me! UGH!

Well, they found and bought me an incubator and egg turners at a garage sale! They just delivered it all...WOW WOW WOW! I CAN’T wait to get started! I don’t know what I’m doing, but I can’t wait to find out how dumb I am!

Hmmmmm.....should I ponder another want on here......I really want to mount all of my bugs that I have in shoeboxes to display and show the kids...... OR Hang out with Tracey and do the Monarch butterfly “thing”! I bought one of those “houses” years ago so I could do the hatching with the kids, but never followed through since you had to order the cocoons and stuff. That’s definitely another Hmmmmmm....
Guess I’d better put my feet back on the ground and get busy!
