I dropped Tracey off at work yesterday and then made a quick trip to Schnuck’s. The check out lady told me if I got a 3rd 6 pack of Diet Pepsi it would be free, so I trusted her and went and got another one. They are three for $12 or $4 each.
She rings up the 3rd one and then gives me a $2 off coupon. That is not what I would call “the 3rd one for free” but she couldn’t do the math I guess. This scares me a little that she didn’t know that three for $12 is $4 each or that she knows and was shilling for Schnuck’s. Either way I didn’t like it much.

I fully realize we are only talking about $2 but, as always, it is the principle of the thing that gets to me. It was hardly worth trudging after another one for $4 and definitely not for $2. Anyway a small price to pay for my “Gripe of the Day”.
