Five years ago today Tracey, Ben, Aaron and I climbed on an airplane to fly to the west coast where we drove up and down the coast for a week. It was a fun and memorable vacation and it sure doesn’t seem like it was FIVE years ago!

#MedicalMafia My visit to the pulmonologist’s office yesterday went pretty much as expected. I went “off script” a little bit at first —— the receptionist asked me, “Why are you here to see the doctor” and I replied, “I don’t know, you guys made the appointment, why AM I here?”
I told her since Dr. Tillis dumped me I didn’t even know which doctor made the appointment.
So she asked what they were treating me for and I said, “Nothing —— I treat myself for sleep apnea and I guess I have to come here and pay you guys for permission to treat myself with a Bi-Pap machine.”
I finally lightened up a bit and we spent about ten minutes putting me in the computer again with another picture etc.
The doctor asked me the same silly questions they always ask and pretended to examine me for about a minute —— then I forked over the $40 co-pay for the privilege of wasting my afternoon paying them for absolutely nothing but aggravation.
