The good news is that I got a #Dentist appointment to get my tooth fixed —— the bad news is I have to wait until next Tuesday! As usual, I can’t keep my tongue away from it, it feels like a massive hole in my tooth —— with sharp edges.

Ben sent an email saying he hopes to come back for a visit over the Labor Day weekend —— we are looking forward to it!
Mine are coming home Labor Day weekend too. I can’t wait for some extra noise in the house!
Dave and I rode his motorcycle (yes, I rode too) the back way to ICC, down Centennial Dr. to the frontage road that runs along 116. There is a “park” along there that we thought we’d investigate.
Well, after 2 steep hills to climb, we found the end - a small pond. It wasn’t a long trail, just a little on the hard side to walk. At least we now know what is at this “park”...not much.
Dave had a plan with all of this I think. See, I’m trying real hard to ride on the back of his bike a little now and then. I told him the other night that I can’t get exercise if I’m on a bike and that we need to just go for a walk too (and more than ride).
So, his answer was to ride the bike and then walk! Got me there! It was a nice ride, but I’m still not 100% comfortable being a target!

I know what you mean about the “extra noise in the house” —— it sure gets quiet around here! I didn’t realize how often the boys really were around when it seemed like they weren’t but now that they are really gone we miss them a bunch.

My thought last night was -- I get to see them on weekends and can drive over there too. But what happens if and/or when they get a job and move too far to visit on a weekend?! (Like Noah) Yikes...that “quiet” is coming too soon I’m afraid! So, I decided I’d better consider myself lucky right now and visit them as often as I can!
