My visit to the #Dentist yesterday went better than I had expected. I was afraid I would end up with an expensive crown to repair my molar but the dentist fixed it with another filling. He says eventually it will need to be crowned but he could “patch it up” this one last time. It wasn’t that I’m really bothered by having a crown —— it is just SO expensive!

#PowerOutage Our power went out again last night round 7 p.m. It was off for about 11/2 hours. The confirmation call we got from #Ameren said it was “an animal on line” again. Third time in the past month. Tracey says we will never hear one that says “equipment failure”, or “rusty transformer broke”, or “rotten pole fell down”, ETC. Sure, blame it on the animals.

SUCCESS! Dave and I rode back to Farmdale to walk the paths again. We started at the opposite end this time thinking it was closer to the creek with the rocks we had to JUMP across.
We jumped from the bank to the first rock, but couldn’t see glasses in the water or on the bottom. So we jumped from the rock to the bank on the other side of the creek. We were standing there looking and saying there’s no way we’ll find those glasses.
Something caught the corner of my eye...it was a grasshopper! Don’t see many of those any more. Then...there they were! They were laying in the sand/rocks on the bank. The grasshopper saved the day! So lucky to find them! His glasses are basically the same color as the wet sand. Our mission was a success!

Yep....I do love my bugs!
I just jumped through LOTS of hoops on line and got our eye insurance benefits, etc. I’m pretty sure it would be difficult to purchase glasses from your place. I haven’t read all the fine print, but I will. Good grief! (another day’s project on this one)

Our eye insurance turned out to be pretty easy once we found the right web page —— we just have to download a form to fill out with a few dozen stupid meaningless questions and then mail that with a copy of the receipt. Then wait a month to get a check for about half of it back because they disallow so many things. Since the glasses are so much cheaper it seems to work out anyway.
