I had big plans to mow grass yesterday —— I even filled up the gas cans so I would be all ready to go —— and then the left front tire on the mower decided to self destruct. The mower is now sitting up on a concrete block and the wheel assembly is in the garage for repairs. I probably won’t get to work on it much today because the guy is supposed to come repair our dryer “some time today”. I used to get aggravated when repair people would only tell me “morning” or “afternoon”. Now it just the entire day they have blocked off for my convenience. Better than “some time this week” I guess —— or is that next?

I got all of my mowing done yesterday. Today is a busy day for me...FFA meeting, Parent meeting at the preschool, drs. appt., and then another Parent meeting at the preschool. The fun should end around 8 tonight.

Hi Tammy, Sounds like a real busy day to me! Tracey says, “I dreaded those meetings too, even though I was the parent.” At least the first one. You never knew what meeting the new teacher was going to be like —— after that it was easier since you knew what to expect. I suspect it is the same with teachers? Never knowing how a parent is going to react? Anyway, good luck and try to have fun anyway.

One parent meeting down and one to go! I prefer to talk to kids instead of adults. I dread the first days of school! I never know what to expect from the kids AND their parents. I sure hope there aren’t many criers. Those are the challenging kids! UGH!

Hang in there Tammy —— you will make it! I got the mower back together and now I’m mowing grass all day forever! Needed a short break and some WATER! Pheww!
