The GQP has been pushing this sludge pipeline for months now and they keep spewing nonsense about all the jobs it will create. The truth is those jobs would be very temporary and would probably be fewer than 2,000.

Aaron and Ben returned to college yesterday afternoon. The poor dog will now sit at the top of the stairs watching the front door for a couple days until he realizes they aren’t coming home soon. We feel the same way and maybe worse. He doesn’t know enough not to wait for them so he has hope and only thinks about their return.


The Bob Evan’s in Pekin has chili again. Go figure. I thought it was seasonal but I guess it is more like whimsical because the weather was much cooler when they quit serving it and over 90°F when it returned. Go figure.
