Yesterday was kind of a slow day —— I didn’t do much of anything. The highlight was a trip to the post office to mail a package to Aaron —— he wanted us to send him his headset. I also went into to Pekin to get some glucose test strips and a few groceries.


We have had some curious trouble with our telephones though. Both the cell phones and our landline would not work for about an hour. Very strange.

We could send text messages on our cell phones and get Internet on both phone but couldn’t place phone calls. I find it an odd coincidence this happened with two different phone systems from two different phone companies at the same time?

We’re back to having a sporadic dsl signal....AGAIN! We’ve replaced the modem and the router.

It seems to always do it during and right after a rain. I don’t know if that has anything to do with anything.

It went out for a short time earlier this week and I asked Dave to call them. I guess he’s allergic to a phone?

I called and left a message at 10:00 last night. Of course, I won’t be able to talk to someone until after 3:30 today. Hopefully I can have a signal long enough to do some stuff and read the pjs online with my coffee this morning!

Good Morning Tammy,
It would seem the local phone companies are “up to something” around here but don’t seem to know what they are doing. Our DSL has been working fairly well lately although not very fast but that is just because we are so far away from town. Hope you can get it fixed soon —— I know it is a pain when it doesn’t work right!
