I thought I would offer some explanation about the last two pictures in the “Assorted Stuff” collection for today. I follow #WilWheaton of Star Trek’s Wesley Crusher fame on Twitter and a couple days ago he let loose a barrage about how angry he was that a photographer was stalking him and his wife while they were vacationing on a beach in Hawaii.
So they started posting pictures of themselves on the Internet with the hope of making the paparazzi photos worthless. It caught the attention of nerds and Trekkies —— and shortly the Internet was infested with Photoshops in this meme. I enjoyed it and decided to share.

Alan and Lizz joined me, Mom, DD and Tracey at the #BobEvans in E. Peoria. We ended up with a distracted and disorganized waitress who didn’t seem to know whether she was coming or going. We all went to Mom’s trailer afterward and had several fun discussions about places and events we had enjoyed on various vacations. I think we are all in need of a “mountain fix”!

There was a mention of the Nederland, CO, “Frozen Dead Guy” last evening at Mom’s and I had to Google it to refresh my memory. I even put a couple photos of the recent festivities in today’s “News Photos” at the top.
