I make a habit of going back through the blog to read each years blog entry and a year ago yesterday we bought the #VW.
It doesnt seem that long ago! That thought jogged another memory I forgot to blog about. Remember me complaining how we had lost one of the VW keys the very day we bought the car? Tracey found it!
Last week when she was packing a suitcase to take with her on her visit to family in Effingham, Watson and parts south she found the key in an outside pocket of the suitcase! We had used that suitcase to go to Decatur the evening we bought the car.
Evidently one us put the key in there while we were sorting through the paperwork for the title, insurance, etc. and then promptly forgot about it. It is always the last place you look and in this case we werent even looking anymore.

So how long before these are illegal? (If they arent already?)
Ben arrived home around 3 p.m. yesterday and Aaron was much later at around 10 p.m. or so. Aaron stopped in Davenport to visit with Kiefer a bit before coming home.
Tracey got off work early because one of her travel nurses agreed to work some extra hours for her so she could come home and be with her boys. This same nurse agreed to cover a few hours today too so that helps make up for all the other times when it hasnt worked out so too good.
Tracey just left for work about a half-hour ago but she should be home by noon or so thanks to this wonderful co-worker who volunteered to cover for her.
I got a big turkey to put in the oven and we will have turkey dinner with fixings after Tracey gets home to welcome the boys home for the weekend. There are really in need of a nice home cooked meal.

I know that all politicians stretch the truth as far as they can but this #MittRomney guy is so ridiculous I am amazed anyone listens to anything he says. Unfortunately there are too many media outlets who not only cover up his lies but do their best to make people think some of this crap is true.
Jeans, sweater, chili, cornbread, potato bar, smores, campfire, beer, boy scout camp....
A wedding! My boss son is getting married at 3 p.m. today and that is their wedding day plans. At least its one wedding that I dont have to drag the husband to!
