I just waved goodbye to Tracey again this morning. She left at this same time yesterday morning, 4:45 a.m., and didn’t get home until almost 9 p.m. She should get home around 5 p.m. this evening so today will only be a 12-hour day of work. I just wish Fresenius had some appreciation and respect for how much extra time she works for her patients.
Having said all that, I’m going back to bed because I can. Otherwise I will get all caught up in the hurricane coverage and that won’t help anything. I feel bad for everyone involved and I fear this kind of weather is now the new normal.
