I made a grocery run yesterday and got the oil changed in the #Blazer on the way. I got one of those high pressure sales guys during the oil change and he tried to talk me into anything and everything —— radiator flush, transmission check, differential “examination” etc. He got a bit peeved when I started laughing, I told him the cost of all that unnecessary stuff would be more than the old Blazer is even worth.

A while ago I got a letter from my prescription drug provider RESTAT. It said I would have to switch to a different blood glucose meter and gave me a web site to go to. So I go and order it up.

The new meter arrived a couple days ago and is pretty nice. So I call the #TremontClinic and tell them to send the prescription for the new test strips and lancets.

I got an email yesterday from the #PharmacyWalgreens telling me those aren’t covered by my insurance. WTH? So now I get to spend time emailing and talking on the phone to figure out which idiot screwed this up. Why can’t things ever be simple?
