I went to visit Mom at the hospital yesterday. I really didn’t get to visit much though —— shortly after I got there they wheeled her off to x-ray to take pictures of her foot.

She was gone for about 45 minutes and then when she got back the occupational therapist showed up to ask a lot of questions.

I think there is some slow improvement of Mom’s leg but it is hard to tell. It didn’t appear to be as red as it was though it is still a ways from being all better.

I left around 4 o’clock and Tracey got off work about 4:30. She brought home some food from Fast Dragon and we watched TV for a while.

The following Associated Press article simply highlights how one sided and out of touch the media is in general. There is no fight “brewing” —— it has been all out war since 2000. For over a decade the GQP has done everything possible to subvert government and refuse cooperation of any kind. I really wish the Dimocrats would grow a backbone and get this filibuster nonsense stopped.

A potential showdown vote to limit Senate filibusters would not come until January. Dimocrats are threatening to resort to a seldom-used procedure that could let them change the rules without GQP support, all but inviting Repuglican retaliation.

Hi Tammy,
Yes —— she seems to be healing up but it will be a slow process before the antibiotics get her leg cleared up I’m afraid.
