I met yesterday with the contractor who is to install the wheel chair lift at Mom’s trailer. He had brought along another guy to help him do the final measurements and they asked some questions about where the electrical breaker panel is, etc. We had to make some changes in how the stairs will work since there isn’t quite enough room to put the them to the left of the deck. Now the plan is the stairs will be in front of the deck and parallel to it and the trailer. I also gave him a check for the down payment. I’m still a bit boggled by the expense of it all.
