Tracey closed the clinic yesterday so she wasn’t supposed to be at work until around noon but —— there is always that flurry of phone calls and text messages that seem to come along at least once a day on her “time off”.
She is never really off work. This time there is a problem with one of her “travel” nurses. She didn’t hire this person and can’t fire this person but somehow she is supposed to be responsible for this person. Corporate logic.

We went to #SteaknShake for lunch and I dropped her off at work. I went to #ChicagoHut on my way home to pick up a couple gyros for my supper.
I can’t eat those around Tracey because she says the smell makes her feel sick. She used to love them but we had gyros for supper the day Noah was born and the cucumber sauce and child labor didn’t agree.

Of course....my computer has problems! Wish I knew more about them. I’ve had trouble with the pages not responding, pages taking about 2 min. to totally load, and it sounds like someone is pulling the plug and plugging it back in fast.
So, there’s an interruption in power? Dave will love that I’m using his computer when he gets up.
Well, I guess I’ll get my Christmas decorating finished today then.

Morning Tammy! Sorry to hear about your computer problems —— I just HATE when that happens. I haven’t had any serious ones for a while now (knock on wood) but I can certainly empathize with you.
I don’t know what all you use your computer for but —— and I never thought I would ever say this —— you should consider getting an iPad.
Tracey has hers on ALL THE TIME! She absolutely loves the thing! I don’t care for the tablets because of the amount of time I spend typing code for my blog, but for surfing the net, email, calendars, etc. the iPad is really fast and cool.

P.S. I’m sure we could get together so you could check out Tracey’s iPad if you seriously considered getting one.
I don’t advise just buying one without some research because there are things it isn’t so too good at. I will probably always have a desktop because I do things like video, spreadsheets, and lots of typing that the iPad isn’t as good at.
