Another really early day for Tracey and another long day at work for her. Five this morning until five this evening. And she works tomorrow too. Bummer.


I think I finally have a laptop ready for Mom. I spent all morning removing files from one of Tracey’s old ones and I had no idea just how much stuff was on there shouldn’t have been left on there.

I am working with the presumption the thing might get stolen so I don’t want any personal information on it at all. Next I will have to assemble the arm chair table we got for her. I am hoping we can get this all together by tomorrow and deliver it to her.


I met Tracey for lunch yesterday and then we went to Benson’s to look at a used clothes dryer. I almost bought it but decided I had better go check out Mom’s old one first because I wasn’t absolutely sure of the size etc.

Good thing I did because Mom’s trailer is set up for a 220 V. electric dryer and we almost bought a gas dryer. Rats. Now I think we will change directions and see about getting her old one repaired. The used one was a bargain, but I think we should be able to get it repaired for less than the cost of a new one. Alan has a buddy who knows a guy who —— etc. We shall see how that pans out?
