I’m up REALLY early today! Dave has to be at the Pekin Hospital at 7 a.m. for his eye surgery. Sure hope it’s quick and easy!

#Lifeline called just before 3 a.m. to tell me Mom had taken another tumble early this morning. Tracey and I went over and got her back into her chair. She has some bruising and rug burns on her forehead but otherwise seems OK. We came back home and went back to bed so I sort of slept in today.
Ben came back home last evening after spending about a week down at SIUE and a visit with his grandparents and family in #Watson. It is good to have both boys home again for a while and the only thing that could be better would be to have Noah here too!
Oh no....hope your mom recovers quick and has no more tumbles!
We are home. This eye surgery was soooooooo much better than the other one at the IL eye center! We arrived at 6:50 and got home at 10:10! Done! IL Eye was arrive at 12:15 and home at 7! I have to take him to get checked tomorrow at 11:05 (strange time) and then hopefully he’s back to work on Friday. He can’t drive until after the appt. tomorrow. Sure hope it’s smooth sailing from now on.

I was just reading the bike log. Wow...my good friend is from the towns where he traveled through. Her sister lives in DeWitt right now. My friend is from Lost Nation, IO. I’ve also heard her talk about Maquoketa too. Seems kind of strange with all of the towns in Iowa.
