10/01/13 Quote «The Legel Report»
We have a criminal jury system which is superior to any in the world; and its efficiency is only marred by the difficulty of finding 12 men every day who don’t know anything and can’t read.

I went to visit Tracey in Decatur yesterday at around 2 p.m. As requested by the YaHoo tech support guy I password protected my web site so nobody could access it.

The drive to Decatur is about 1.5 hours. I arrived at the hotel a few minutes before Tracey got there from the clinic. We got her checked into her room and then went out to eat. After supper we went shopping and she got some soda and munchables for her stay this week. I left around 7 p.m. and was home a little after 8:30.

I again tried to back up the database and it didn’t work. I really didn’t think it would but I thought I should give them the benefit of the doubt.

So I unlocked the web site so it would work again. Mom had tried to get on the Blog last evening and then sent an email asking about the “password”. I explained to her what was going on and told her it would be running by this morning.

I listened to the car radio on my way home last evening and was thoroughly disgusted with the antics of the Tea-Idiots who are ruining our government. What is wrong with these people? So millions of people will have no job for a while, millions if not billions of dollars will be wasted, and for what? So these bastards can dance around slapping each other on the back for shutting down government?

I almost forgot to mention my brother Alan came by to visit a bit yesterday. He was out on a scooter ride and stopped by.

We cussed and discussed some of the political insanity. Also the pipeline being put through just a couple miles east of here. It is the solution for the XL pipeline everyone was concerned about polluting Nebraska, now it is quietly be put through Illinois. Global warming, the near total lack of factual media news reporting, etc. etc. etc. As usual we agree on much, don’t understand how our country got so screwed up and wonder how long before Mother Nature shrugs mankind off the planet.

Tea-Billies shut down America with a giggle and a snort ——

Essential functions such as law enforcement and air-traffic control continue, although tens of thousands of controllers, prison guards and Border Patrol agents are required to serve without pay.

National parks, monuments and museums, as well as most federal offices, are closed. Many federal activities, including Internal Revenue Service audits and flu-outbreak surveillance, have been suspended.

I’m just glad we weren’t planning on visiting Yellowstone THIS week instead of last June. How many people have just had their jobs or vacations ruined by a few dozen Tea-Idiots in one party of one branch of government. Stupid.

Jackie had her surgery today on her lip to remove some cancer spots that have returned. Dick called Dave tonight to report in. Now, this is from Dick and through Dave so hopefully it’s pretty accurate.

Dr. said that he had to remove quite a bit of her bottom lip to get all the cancer, but feels that he got it all. He sewed her tongue to her lip to get blood moving through it.

They ended up keeping her all night so she should go home tomorrow. Dick said they had her pretty drugged because of the pain. She can’t talk or eat so she is on a feeding tube. She goes back to the dr. in a week.

The dr. did say that he doesn’t know how much more he can cut on her. Let’s hope that this cancer stays away for a long time! This is not the same cancer that was in her mouth. This is the cancer on the outside of her mouth.

The dr. told her a long time ago that the cancer that was inside her mouth can kill her, but the cancer on the outside won’t. I don’t know exactly what that means or if it’s good or bad.

Let’s just hope for a speedy recovery from this surgery!
