Tracey worked on her fish tank yesterday morning and captured a couple fish she wants to “trade in” at Charlie’s in Pekin.
I’m not sure how it works but I guess she gets credit for them when she buys some new ones. I know nothing about fish or fish tanks but she wanted to trade them in because they fight too much and thus her fish tank is not “calming”.
We also went to Menard’s and bought a couple LED lights for the outdoor light fixtures and electronic eye switching sockets to turn them on at dusk and off at dawn.
They are really expensive but are supposed to use very little juice and last a long time we shall see. They sure don’t put out as much light. I will have to work on the fixture near the steps by the garage (again) as it doesn’t work.
I’m leaving to go see Mom in a couple minutes. The remote control to her electric chair (not THAT kind of electric chair!) is snagged in the cushions and she can’t get it out.

Back again. Mom called while I was on my way over to her house and said she got things untangled so turned around at the Crossroads Church parking lot on Unsicker Rd. I waved at the Alan Legel house on my way by but nobody waved back.

I went to help out yesterday at my dad’s house and then to my brother’s “house” or what is left of it anyway. We cleaned out closets and drawers at my dad’s house so that my brother and family would have some space for their clothing and things.
We then went to Devonshire where my brother lived.....Just No Words.....

Hi Tammy, I really can’t imagine what it must be like. I can only hope that I would be so glad to be alive that it would balance the horrible loss of property.

Yes, they should be very thankful they are alive! I think maybe one of the most mind boggling things would be, “Where do I start”? There is just so much lumber, siding, trees, insulation,etc. everywhere. It was so strange to see what used to be a house across the street from my brother and all this left is the brick that lined the outside of the garage door frame. The rest of the house is gone. It is overwhelming when you think about cleaning up. Small area with way too much garbage. You can’t hardly drive down the streets because of all the vehicles lining the streets. I just know that I’m very thankful for my home and family!
