A few days ago we had received an email from Hometown Buffet advertising they would be serving breakfast on New Years day so we decided to go yesterday.
They were open early, but they were serving lunch and not breakfast. We should have just left, especially since lunch is more expensive, but we were hungry. Seems weird that they were serving lunch at 8 a.m.?
From there we went to visit with Mom for a little while. While we were there the pulmonary doctor came by and then the hospital doctor. They are all so concerned about her lung problems but none of them will admit that the hospital was the cause of most of her trouble.
Tracey still wanted some pancakes so we stopped at Bob Evans in E. Peoria on the way home and had second breakfast. So we had lunch in the morning and then breakfast at noon. Why not?
Update 01/18/14: Since this time we have received five (5) coupons for free meals! #HometownBuffet is still in our good book!

I would imagine there are a few others who have pulled the fake death scam to avoid prosecution. You can afford to do that when you steal millions of dollars. And let us be very clear the authorities arent pissed at this guy for stealing the money, they are upset because he stole it from rich people. The banks steal from the poor every day but that is no crime in America.
