Yesterday mid-morning suddenly got busy. Mark called from Oak Lawn Estates and wanted to meet me at the trailer.
As soon as I got there he wanted to know if I was going to tear down the deck at the front door. I said no. He continued to try and convince me but finally relented. I don’t really know what’s up with that.
We wandered through the trailer a bit and he suggested we list it for $9,500. I decided we will try it for a month and then go from there. I went to the office and signed the listing papers. The girl there said I would need death certificates for both Mom and Dad since the trailer title was in both names.
I went by Ludwig Funeral Home first and they sent me to Knapp-Johnson saying they had been bought out by them and all records were kept there. So I went to Knapp-Johnson and they had a photocopy of Dad’s death certificate waiting for me.
So now I have all the proper paper work; we just need somebody to buy the trailer.

I received an email from my brother Alan that he and Gloria had cleaned out the storage shed yesterday too. I was planning on doing that this weekend so I am tickled to death they tackled that chore. I can’t say enough about how much work Alan, Gloria, Lizz and Drew have done. The trailer is now ready to sell. I still have some stuff here at home to go through and finally decide what to do with it all.

I had virtually this same discussion with a guy at work. He was a college graduate with an engineering degree and his wife taught grade school. Neither of them could understand the basic stupidity of playing games with number lines in school when you will NEVER EVER use one in real life.
This crap has invaded our schools and simply makes the learning of mathematics more difficult and time consuming. This is an outcome of the over educated minions of the Education Mafia trying to score points instead of simply teaching basic concepts. #CommonCore
