One of my errands yesterday was to take the VW back to have the driver side headlight looked at again. This time both the high and low beams were not working. They took the assembly apart and checked the bulbs —— they were OK. Also checked the fuses —— again OK. Finally decided it was just a loose connection between the wiring harness and the assembly socket and made sure to really push them together. Headlights work and they didn’t charge me. It was an inconvenience but I guess we came out about even. I just wish they had made sure of the connection the first time around. But things happen.
