Tracey had the morning off yesterday so we went to the implement rental place in E. Peoria and scheduled a small excavator to be delivered in a couple weeks. We are going to attack the landscaping by filling the old pond behind the house and leveling out some of the dirt piles Tracey created when she dug the ponds. So that means we have a couple weekends to get prepared by cutting the trees and brush out of the way and draining the water out of the old pond. Hopefully we will finally get this project done!


The baby birds have left the group of scrub trees we were cutting on so maybe we can get out there today and finish cutting that stuff up. That’s another job for the machine we are renting —— to dig up some of the tree stumps we have on the property so I don’t have to mow around them.
