I installed the deadbolt in the new #FrontDoor yesterday and I think we can put “finished” on that project. I can finally park in the garage without having to worry about running into a door leaning against the garage wall. The summer was spent maneuvering around that door.

Tracey is continuing her battle with painting Ben’s old bedroom. We had thought the bright green would be hard to cover up but it turns out she is having trouble covering up the flowers, lizards, etc. that he had painted on the walls. We went by Fart & Fleem last evening to get her some more paint and hope she can finally get it covered over. What a madhouse that turned out to be —— they were having their Grand Opening Sale so the place was packed with bargain hunters. We also had dinner at Ruby Tuesday’s because it was National Cheeseburger day yesterday and I had a coupon for a free cheeseburger. Good stuff!

You went to Farm and Fleet?! Yikes! I had a preschool mom tell me when she picked her son up at 11:30 that it was nuts. They were parking in Walmart and walking across the street, they were doing shuttles from the old F&F out to the new one, and that in three hours time, there were two ambulance calls to F&F. This was all to save money on TP, paper towels, and dog food basically. Really people?!? I think it was just nosey people and HAD to be first to go to the new F&F .... instant gratification and bragging rights. Good grief!

Good Morning Tammy, I dropped Tracey off at the door and then circled the parking lot until I could find a parking space where I could see the front doors. It was around 7 p.m. so it probably wasn’t as crazy by then but it was still pretty weird. We didn’t know anything about all the hoopla —— we were just in town to eat and Tracey wanted to get some more paint. We had bought the original can of paint there about a week ago and there was hardly anybody there then. Crazy world ain’t it!
