Tracey and I made a trip to town yesterday morning for breakfast. We also stopped at Big R’s so Tracey could buy a forty lb. bag of sunflower seeds to put in her bird feeders. I think it is a close call between the squirrels, chipmunks and birds as to who eats the most but our house is the popular place for the critters all winter.
We also spent some time with the generator. We shut down the main electrical breaker and hooked up the generator then got it running and let it run a few minutes —— just long enough to see that it works to run lights, well pump, etc. So that added bit of work will now insure the power won’t go out this winter. Right? At least if it does I shouldn’t be out in the garage with a flashlight in my mouth making muffled curses at a generator that won’t start.
