Cranes are seen in a field near the village of Navaselle in a remote corner of Belarus. Thousands of migrating cranes, which in Belarus are listed as endangered, stop at corn fields not far from the Yelnya marsh, one of the largest in Europe, to replenish energy reserves before flying south.
#Frontier The DSL was dead again this morning. I think this may have been a record! We made it almost a week since our local repair guy, Rory, got it working last Saturday with a line test. Not a good thing to be on a first name basis with the local DSL repair guy. I will put him on our Christmas card list if he can ever really fix this problem.
I called the national tech support line at 4:23 a.m. this morning (according to my phone). As soon as the guy ran the line test the modem rebooted to faster speeds. Again I told him to write EVERYTHING down including his name and employee ID number. This is what Rory told me to tell him. So we shall see if anything comes of all this note taking. I just hope the connection holds through the weekend. It usually doesnt.
