In a recent conversation it was said by another that a couple who made every outward appearance of being together didnt seem quite together. No holding hands, no touching and they seemed separated while living together.
I was instantly taken by this as I have had the same feeling about people. It is good to have someone else echo what you thought you alone felt. Ive even gone so far as to feel some of the outward signs of togetherness have a jagged edge. As if they are playing the part but not playing it well. No eye contact. No body language.
What I left unsaid is the obvious body language between two people with a long history. And sometimes they dont realize others also catch that glance, nod or small shake of the head. And I wonder if others catch us when Tracey and I are sharing raised eyebrows? Or if anyone else knows what is behind Traceys Mona Lisa smile.
Ive been reading a lot of ridiculous pro-Hillarity articles lately that are nothing more than apology pieces for her breaking numerous federal laws regarding the security of her email and her personal server.
This author clearly has no understanding of how security works. As most of those who apologize for Clintoon. ALL state depart. communications with foreign diplomats, delegations, etc. are at the very least classified as Confidential. That is in fact a classification. So to say they werent classified at all is incorrect. And that classification isnt something that is marked to each and every communication but by its very nature. And it is irrelevant whether it was sent or received it is classified. And it is very relevant that if a category of information is deemed to have an upgraded or downgraded classification the person having such information is expected to understand that as well and act appropriately. An office holder is supposed to be educated enough to understand these facts and administer security appropriately.
One cant say, for an example, that a speeding ticket couldnt be issued when the national speed limit was reduced to 55 because one didnt know the speed limit changed. When it was changed it was expected the new speed limit would be obeyed. Whether it was marked or otherwise. Thousands of roads in America have no speed limits posted, but that doesnt mean you can ignore the speedometer.
