I just got a call from my brother to check and see if I was still alive since I hadn’t updated the Blog. I also missed a text he sent me because I was gone most of the morning at the #RetireeBreakfast with the old codgers I used to work with. It was good of him to check on me and I am a bit amazed at myself for not Blogging. I haven’t missed a day for quite a while. Thanks for the call Alan!

I was going to write this morning about the political climate and decided it would be better to let it simmer a bit. Still don’t feel like getting into it even yet. I’m even thinking of taking a few days off from political rants. Not like me I know but my mental health might be better with a cooling off.

On a lighter note I had hauled a roll of rusty fence wire out for the garbage pickup and somebody came by and took it before the garbage truck even got here. That seems a bit desperate —— taking a rusty wire fence? I wouldn’t think it would weigh enough for scrap metal and it looks like heck. Oh Well.
