Aaron, Ben, Kiefer and others were in and out all day yesterday. Ben started the day with a morning run. Shortly after they all took off to the Moss Ave. Sale in Peoria. Some sort of block yard sale in the ritzy section I’m guessing. I think they also returned to the Turkey Festival for a while.

Tracey and I went to #JacksCafe for lunch and that was the extent of our venturing outside. It was plenty hot and humid to convince us to stay in the house with the A/C.

Not to denigrate the magnitude of grief in this latest senseless shooting —— I have to mention that 76 people died in one day in Waco, TX, when federal agents burned down the building they were in. That too was a mass murder scenario. Maybe we are not supposed to remember that?
