When it comes to #DisasterPorn —— pundits, politicians and bobble-heads all rush to the nearest TV camera and blather inane platitudes. When it comes to doing something about the disaster. Crickets. One would think Flint has drinking water by the deafening silence on the issue today.

Another thing that slightly bothers me is the weird fixation that this horror is somehow the worst mass shooting in American history. Not even close. Yet when I post things like the image below on social media I get all these people trying to parse information to fit the media’s ridiculous meme. We are very superficial.
