We will be finishing our packing and loading up Tracey’s car for a much needed vacation. With any luck, not too much traffic or road construction (I’m a dreamer) —— We should be in a hotel in Grand Island, NE by sunset today.

Stumbled across this photo just as I was getting ready to load up the car. “Coal Keeps The Lights On”

Some part of my mind rebelled at this thought. It is undeniably true but certainly doesn’t say much for the state of scientific progress in an age of so much technology —— it is run on coal?

Arrived Grand Island without too much road rage. Had supper at a great steakhouse. Will upload picture later. Need to rest, cool off and take a shower.
