I received a text from Tracey last evening saying she had arrived safely to her hotel in Moline and was getting ready to find some supper before calling it a night. We were having a nasty thunderstorm at the time.
There was a lightning strike very close to our house. I don’t know how close but close enough to make my ears ring and the hair stand up on my arms. Close! I can’t see anything blasted outside but I might take a tour of the property later today.

I broke my vow again yesterday. After several comments back and forth on a Facebook thread I put in the question, “Could any of you Hillarity supporters explain her qualifications without mentioning the word “Twitler”?” Then I sat back and watched the sparks fly. This whole “lesser of evils” stupidity is really rampant. As I suspected, most of them simply quit commenting with a few continuing the same tired nonsense. Nobody even attempted to cite any accomplishments otherwise.
