#Balloon2016LockhartTX The local and national news has been covering the Texas balloon crash for several evenings. I’ve also seen a few headlines on the Internet. The whole story seems to have been narrowed down to the guy being a recovering alcoholic and the character assassination is pretty heavy. I presumed, at first, that the blood test showed the guy was intoxicated. Not so much. I don’t think there is any evidence of that, not that they are reporting anyway. I’m not sure they really know what caused the crash. Maybe blaming the pilot is just the easiest thing to do. I just think it is yellow journalism to dredge up the past if there is no indication that was the cause.

As a follow up to the above —— if America really thought a recovering alcoholic is so untrustworthy —— why did we elect one to the office of President? Twice?
