The #Microsoft computer “Update” was only at 80% at 9:00 last night. Some time during the night it finished up and rebooted.

I have to change a number of things I had customized so have already been into the registry to change that horrible default font. Many of my icons have been rearranged and some restored that I had deleted. (I don’t want or need the icon for “Microsoft Store”. Etc.)

I’m actually surprised the darn thing works at all after the fiasco of yesterday so I should count my blessings they didn’t hose it up entirely. Every time I go through one of these “upgrades” I swear I should go to Linux or some other stable operating system but I am too lazy I guess.

I’ll let you know if I find ANY useful function or feature that was added by this monumental waste of my time. Other than moving things around again I haven’t found anything improved.

I have spent the past 1.5 hours restoring registry edits that were removed with this dratted so-called update. I didn’t realize how many things I had changed but I’m trying to keep a better record of them this time. I’m betting this isn’t the last time my computer is abused by #Microsoft updates.
