An aerial view of the southern end of Værøy, one of Norways Lofoten Islands, reveals a towering ridge running through it like a bony spine. Værøy is home to a population of fewer than 800 people but millions of nesting seabirds.
I made a grocery run yesterday. I had been slacking because I was grumpy about that sore tooth. I ended buying more junk food than I should have but at least we now have food in the house.
The guy bagging my groceries was coughing, sneezing and blowing his nose all through the process of bagging my stuff. There is a large bottle of hand cleaner and not once did he use it. I mentioned this to the cashier lady when the boy had wandered off. I dont suppose many customers want to take his cold home with them.
