Tracey and I ventured out last evening in a snow squall. We took I-155 to get to the Cracked Barrel in Morton. Along the way we saw several cars in the ditch and I-74 was blocked by a truck that had knocked over a street light which was laying across two lanes.
I marveled at those who went zooming past us and gawking at the wrecks. As if they were somehow immune to icy pavement. Those people really made me nervous as they went swerving around our car. I usually slow down when I see cars crashed along the road.
