Earlier this year there was some uproar about Michelle Obama letting her hair go natural. Every now and then some of the more crass people I encounter on the Internet continue to make racist remarks about her hair and how she has belittled America’s stature in the world by “letting herself go”. ETC.

I have begun commenting every time with a picture of Twitler’s ridiculous hairdo and asking them to please explain that weird fetish? While they never actually defend his looks they usually have something to say that has nothing to do with anything but their racism.

I mean seriously —— how do they have the gall to compliment Twitler and then make any comment about how anybody else looks?

By now we have all witnessed the denial of those who refuse to understand why others “take a knee” to silently protest racism. It goes much deeper than cops killing people. It also applies to many other situations where people wield their authority to enforce racist views.
