Aaron arrived at 3:30 yesterday afternoon as we finished preparing our Thanksgiving feast. This year was a boneless turkey breast cooked in the crock pot. Kind of lazy I know but my days of carving monster turkeys is past since it is just the three of us now.
It was good to visit with Aaron at the kitchen table while we shoveled food into our faces. Even some pumpkin pie to finish off.
After Aaron left Tracey and I beached ourselves in front of the television and stared binge watching Longmire on Netflix.
My first glance at the outdoor thermometer this morning showed it was right at freezing outside and I marveled at the people who had been waiting (or might still be waiting) outside in the frigid temperature.
I honestly cant imagine anything I wouldnt pay an extra $50 for to entice me to freeze my ass off for the opportunity to push and shove my way to hopefully snag one of these precious items.
And the heartbreak of the multitudes who froze only to be just too late to get anything for their trouble.

A new update for my #SamsungWatch came out recently and I updated. It took over a half-hour to download the software and install it on the phone and then on the watch.
I can clearly remember getting my first watch, a wind up Timex, for Christmas in 1964. I could never have imagined I would ever own a watch that requires charging and software updates.
Unfortunately the new updates didnt come with any real helpful explanations about how the new features work so it is pretty much up to experimentation and Google.
Three features I wish they would make would be to have a left hand setting to reverse the watch screen to wear the watch the other way, a better connection screen for Wi-Fi so I could use public Wi-Fi and the ability to put reminders on Traceys watch so I could get her to do things for me. (She says she doesnt want THAT feature)
