*Swatting* is an amazing social recognition that a 911 call can be used to send a death squad against your enemies. And both the media and law enforcement don’t bat an eye at this aptly phrased reality.
This is one of the few headlines that didn’t include the official police denial words of “swatting”, “prank”, etc. The fact is the cops made no effort to verify the call and no effort to avoid murdering an unarmed man. No weapon was visible and, again, no charges will be filed for the murder.

Tracey and I went to #BobEvans in E. Peoria for lunch. Ben and Aaron arrived at the house around 4 p.m. but Aaron didn’t stay very long. He left to spend New Year’s eve with Kiefer in Iowa.

I went to #Avanti in Pekin and picked up a couple pizzas for supper. We beached in front of the TV and talked with Ben a little. He was in and out busy gathering up stuff he wanted us to ship to him in Olympia. He has also accumulated a pile of stuff he wants to make sure we don’t dispose of in our continued house cleaning.
