I saw this toon this morning and it reminded me of myself very briefly. I’m more inclined to talk on the phone rather than send text messages. I started using the voice recognition on my smart phone to compose texts and it dawned on me that it would be so much easier to just talk on the phone. Unfortunately most of my family prefer text messages.

Spin words of today —— “Chain Migration”. The GQP has warped a natural immigration process into some despicable sounding meme with these words. When people use these words without actually realizing they have no correlation to immigration law they may be unknowingly telling their audience they have sided with the wingnuts.

MSM doesn’t help matters any when they repeat this nonsense as if the words have any meaning outside the racism of those who use them to weaponize language. Words have meaning in the way we use them even if the words themselves make no sense.

I’ve thought of different word choices before and this morning I pondered them again. I had only been out of bed a couple hours before I decided to return. My drowsy mind wondered if I was “taking a nap” or “going back to bed” and which seemed most appropriate.

I decided since it was still dark out that I was going back to bed. Because I am a decider about these things.
