Im beginning to think we wont get a true season of spring this year. With snow forecast for tonight and tomorrow we might just go from winter to summer with nothing in between.

Somebody at #Yahoo is still messing with my #Blog web files. I built a log directory with three different collection routines. Each day they log script errors, who accesses the Blog and when, etc. I check them every morning and keep seven days worth of data. The only way to get rid of them is to manually delete them so I know somebody else has been accessing and deleting them besides me. They probably dont realize the batch files are written to update each day. They are probably still trying to figure out what they are.

#Yahoo#Blog One of the stumbling blocks whenever they screw up their system is the list of questions they ask to see what I am doing wrong. (Because they have to prove it IS my fault so they dont have to do anything)
The first one is always about my ISP being too slow, etc. I patiently explain that is NOT the problem because I have three (Frontier, US Cellular, Verizon) and if the problem persists with all three connections that should eliminate the problem being the ISP.
The next one is the question, What software do you use to publish your site. And I answer, Notepad. They refuse to believe I write all my code from scratch (with a lot of cutting and pasting) and dont use any cookie cutter programs like WordPress, etc. We usually spend a lot of time on this one. Especially if they look at my files and dont see any of the standard templates and typical program bloat from third party compilers.
And then we get to the FTP program I use. Again, I have three. And if all three wont work then I can safely presume the problem is theirs.
Eventually I wear them down and make a nuisance of myself long enough to get them to look at the problem instead of at me. But it isnt easy because they think Im some kind of lunatic at first.
