Although it is not funny, it is an example of ridiculous headlines and #Captions we take for granted every day. The overpass didnt reach out and mangle the bus. A person drove this bus into it.
We were having trouble finding anything to watch on TV last evening so we thought we would try #KenBurnsThe West. I usually shy away from his productions as they are often inane and ill informed. This was no exception. We managed about a half-hour before giving up in disgust.
There were many fine shots of scenery and old photographs but the commentary and narration was filled with pseudo-intellectual babble. Im not interested in anything except the facts of history, not the maudlin rambling of some history activist trying to sell his or her opinion about what happened.
And as with many of his so-called documentaries the facts were skewed to represent those views instead of simply letting viewers see and hear all the facts. It is delusional to present Custer as a hero.

Ive been using my #USCellular cell phone data by tethering to it with my computer. I was told when sold this cell phone plan that I would have unlimited data on the phone with a cap of 22G and unlimited tethering with a cap of 10G with 4G data connections. After reaching those caps (limits on my unlimited service) it would slow down to half the speed but would still work. (Actually 2G is about a tenth of 4G speed, but that is marketing speak for you)
I just reached the 10G being tethered and it didnt just slow down. It was cut off completely. So much for that marketing lie. Or perhaps they dont train the sales people.
Im not too concerned because it starts over again at midnight tonight and I have been rationing my use, but it stinks that you can never count on anything they tell you to be true.
